Monica is majoring in Sociology with a minor in Biology from the University of Houston-Central Campus. Monica is a bilingual assessor for the Prevention of Neglect study, which is a 3 year longitudinal study, with mothers and their babies. Monica also works on a National Institute of Health funded study,“Longitudinal Effects of Spina Bifida on Learning,” In the future, Monica hopes to obtain her masters and doctorate in Public Health.
