She graduated in May 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from The University of Houston. Currently, Denise works as a facilitator on the Prevention of Neglect study as well as a behavior coder on various projects. She observes Preschool and Kindergarten teachers using the Teacher Behavioral Rating System for the TEEM, IERI, and Program Project grant funded projects. In addition, she is a trainer on the Playing and Learning Strategies (PALS) curriculum through TEEM and other non-research based sites.
