He spent a semester as a member of the Masters in Humanities program at la Universidad de Monterrey in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He began at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston as a bilingual examiner and parent interviewer for both the POWER Grant and the SOAR Grant (collectively known as Program Project). He is currently working on a National Institute of Health funded study entitled “Effects of Spina Bifida on Learning”, is learning new assessment measures for other projects and continues to be involved with Program Project.
