Amberly graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She spent two years abroad teaching English and studying the Spanish and French languages. Before joining UTHSC, she worked as a cytogenetics specialist with Baylor College of Medicine. Amberly currently works on the Prevention of Neglect study and the Pre-K Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Program. In addition, she conducts classroom observations using the Teacher Behavioral Rating System. In the future, Amberly hopes to attend medical school.
