Cathy Caldwell is a Research Associate for the Children’s Learning Institute. She graduated with a B.A. from Furman University, and earned an M.A. in International Management, as well as an M.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Texas at Dallas. Cathy worked in nonprofit management and development for nine years. She served as Program Coordinator and District Director for the Muscular Dystrophy Association where her duties included coordination of camps and clinics as well as fundraising and management. She was the Vice President for Marketing and Development for the Easter Society where her duties included management, fundraising, public relations and strategic planning. Cathy also went through sales and marketing school at AT&T and worked as an industry consultant for 3 years. She worked for the Center for Academic and Reading Skills for 5 years in assessment and intervention, where she also coordinated research projects within the elementary and secondary schools. Currently, Cathy coordinates different activities with the Children’s Learning Institute faculty and staff. She is involved with many research projects and grants, and supervises many of the Research Assistants.
