Stephanie joined UTHSC Houston in the summer of 2005. She was part of the C.I.R.C.L.E. assessment team for TEA C, TEA D and IERI projects in 2005 and 2006. As part of her data collecting, she enjoyed traveling to Austin, Miami, Ohio, and Maryland. The bilingual assessments were a journey through Corpus Christi, Del Rio, Laredo, and Miami. She also has taken part in TEEM projects including Program Project – a curriculum intervention program in early education pre-kindergarten classrooms. As part of the Texas School Ready! Certification System in 2007 she was part of the team that administered TPRI and Tejas LEE assessments to children throughout the state of Texas. In 2008 she was part of the team that traveled for the Texas Pre-K LEP project to Brownsville, McAllen, and Richardson to administer child assessments and classroom observations as part of the dual language curriculum intervention study. She is currently participating in the project for Texas School Ready! which includes classroom observations and classroom photo coding in Houston, Laredo, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, and other cities throughout Texas. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys arts and crafts, baking and cooking, and spending time with friends.
